Seattle, WA - September 21,
2011 -- Axio Research, LLC today announced the establishment of an
East Coast operating office in Durham, North Carolina. Todd Durham, who
recently joined Axio from Inspire Pharmaceuticals, will head up these
operations which will be focused on providing biostatistics and other
contract research services to Axio’s growing list of clients on the U.S.
East Coast and in Europe. “The addition of Todd and his 15 years of
experience as a manager and biostatistician in the pharmaceutical and
contract research industries further enhances our ability to serve the
needs of our clients. We are excited to have him on board to begin
building the company’s East Coast operations,” said Lee Hooks, Axio’s
Chief Executive Officer.
Todd Durham was employed with Inspire Pharmaceuticals for over eight
years where he was responsible for building and managing that company’s
Biostatistics and Data Management group. Previous to this, Todd was an
Associate Director with Quintiles where he oversaw a group of nine
statisticians and served as lead statistician on several projects
leading to New Drug Applications. He has co-authored numerous
peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and scientific posters,
and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of Florida, School of
Pharmacy. Todd received his Masters Degree in Biostatistics from the
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
