The four diamond hotel is leading the way on the Monterey Peninsula by providing high definition video conferencing and internet streaming, with access to a full menu of the latest top-quality technology. Using the Polycom HDX 9000, guests visiting for meetings on the property will experience new levels of high performance and integration, making for an ideal and highly efficient environment for conducting business. 

The Polycom HDX 9000 allows industry executives to conduct business using the latest, advanced technology. Delivering premium quality, control and focus, interacting with others has never been so easy. The video device captures 60 frames per second as well as a quick and sharp optical zoom that ensures users have a high quality performance. The Polycom features 22khz audio and Daisy Chain Multiple microphone arrays, which permits for maximum room coverage, hearing everyone clearly and naturally. All of these features give for a TelePresence, allowing each person to feel as if they were present at the meeting's main location. 

Along with the Polycon device, Portola Hotel & Spa has 100 Mbps, which is equivalent to 32 T1 lines, and its own in-house technology team to service and troubleshoot as necessary. The professional and knowledgeable staff is on call and available to meet guest's needs at all times, to ensure that meetings and conventions are executed properly.
