SAVITZ ANNOUNCES INVITATION FOR EMPLOYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN 2008 HEALTHCARE SURVEY CURRENTLY BEING CONDUCTED
) Philadelphia, PA (January 21, 2008) -Savitz, an employee benefits consulting firm headquartered in Philadelphia, announced today that it would begin its 3rd annual survey of organizations about the health plans they offer their employees.
What will the survey cover? The survey will focus on cost, enrollment, and plan design trends by plan type (POS, PPO, HMO and Indemnity plans) and feature specific questions on both the prevalence of carve-out prescription drug plans and High Deductible Health Plans/Consumer Driven Health Plans.
Who can participate? Plan sponsors across all industries that are located in the tri-state area including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and range in size from 100 to 10,000 employees are invited to participate.
The survey is available online at http://www.savitz.com/survey/hwsurvey.aspx . Participants can either answer the questions directly in the online format or view and print out the questions in Adobe PDF format, answer them on the hard copy and fax their answers back to the number above. In an effort to complete all analysis and publish findings by April, participants are asked to have all responses back to Savitz by February 29th. All participating company data will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared or sold for any reason.
What will participants receive?
All participants will receive a complete report on the survey results including summary charts and graphs.
Savitz will also be conducting an employer roundtable on April 29th in their offices in Philadelphia, to review the results of the survey as well as discuss the benchmarking experience in general with specific emphasis on how to use the results of this survey and other national surveys to help plan sponsors measure the overall performance of their health and welfare plans.
