(RapidPressRelease) JOPLIN, MO, Nov. 26, 2007 – On November 9, the body of little Rowan Ford was recovered in remote McDonald County, MO.  Prior to the recovery of her body, the girl’s stepfather, David Speares, 25, and his friend, Chris Collings, 32, agreed to take polygraph examinations.  Both of their polygraph examinations, conducted by the FBI, were determined to be ‘Inconclusive.’  In addition to the polygraph examinations, both underwent CVSA examinations.  The examinations were conducted by Detective Orens Banes of the Noesho P.D. (MO), who was assisting the regional investigative team composed of over 50 FBI agents as well as local law enforcement.  The results of the CVSA examinations clearly demonstrated both subjects were deceptive.  Because of the precise results of the CVSA examinations, both were interrogated, confessed and led detectives to the body.   Both were charged with first-degree murder and forcible rape.  Detective Jason Baird of the Noesho P.D. stated “The CVSA examinations were directly responsible for quickly clearing this case.”  Captain Richard Levins of the Newton Co. Sheriff’s Dept. stated “CVSA results were right on the money.”...
